Reading Lake segway

Reading Lake - We are open from June 21 -Covid-19 restrictions apply

Hi 5 are based within the complex at the Reading Lake ( Hotel currently closed for a major refurbishment) just 3 miles from junction 11 of the M4, onsite facilities include a Water Sports centre offering Water-Skiing, Wakeboarding, paddleboarding,  Banana rides and open water swimming on our 40 Acre lake.

Our Segway experience takes place around our 1 mile lake perimeter, we also have a practice area with obstacles which can practice on before driving the Segway x 2 off road for the first time.

What to expect – Segways at Reading Lake

Your 40 minute session will start with a safety briefing by your instructor and demonstration of how the Segway works you will then have a period of practice in the training area.

Once you have completed your practice session you will be responsible for the safe riding of your Segway and any behaviour of under 16 year olds that you have signed for.

Once the instructor is satisfied with the group’s ability we will head out around the water sports lake which is 1.2 miles, guilded by your instructor.

We use the Segway PT x2 for our experiences, these machines are designed for the off road driving using the latest technology, these are the ultimate personal transporters and easy to master after a practice session. To move forward on the Segway PT you just push the lean steer frame in the direction you want to go and experience the feeling of gliding across the grass terrain.
